Week 5 Class thoughts

In week 5s classes we worked on some quick sketches to warm up, I am finally learning to take some of the more important lines first, to get the main shape of the model, this is helpful when I  do the quicker sketches. We also worked on some longer 3 and 5 minute sketches, I am able to get a lot more detail then when I first started, now able to add some tone and depth to the sketch. We also worked on some longer 10 and 20 minute sketches. I enjoy these as I am able to take my time, correct where I have made mistakes and add a lot more depth.
We worked on
i
ntroducing clothing into the drawings, this was an entirely new challenge. I found it difficult to draw the ripples in the clothing, however with some practice I got better at it.

Week 5 2nd Class thoughts

In the last lesson we did some quick sketches, trying to refine my hand style, I definelty have inproved over the time in this course, specifically with the quick drawings. I can see I have developed a style which is replicable. I have improved in understanding how to place the shape on the page in a way that I can reproduce the dimentions.

We also worked on some longer 3 minute poses, I have improved in my hand style, I have seen improvements in tone and dimentions.

We then worked some more toned paper work, which I believe I did my best so far. Taking my time to get tone and depth.

We finished with some clothed sketches, this was challenging in a different way however a good experience and a practice for the final home work assignemnt.
